Boys, we have had a busy last few days celebrating FREE CANDY! In our town, there are two days set aside for Trick or Treat...the 30th and the 31st.

On Saturday, Parker you went to an activity at church for elementary aged kids, and you participated in games, and came home with a ton of candy. Then that evening, we went to your best buddy P's house for a pre-trick or treat Chilli dinner. We met more people from our community, and once again, the thought of how blessed we are crossed my mind. Before we moved here, I prayed and prayed for you to find one close friend. P has been the answer to that prayer. What is even greater than having a friend, is that his family loves the Lord too, so I know you are in good hands when you are there at their home. His grandpa is a pastor of an Assemblies of God church in the next town over. His Dad has been your soccer and baseball coach, and his mom has been such a welcoming presence in our lives. What a neat family, and I love that you have a buddy. Anyways, that evening we went trick or treating with P's family in their neighborhood, and we met many other people as well. Good times.

The next day was Sunday and we went to church, came home and rested, went to church again, and then went to another friends house and trick or treated with them. You boys had so much fun. This other family has two boys who are 7 and 5...and you boys are 6 and 4, so you make one crazy bunch! You really enjoyed your time with your friends, and you came home with more sugary loot.

Again, I was reminded how my biggest concern in moving was the adjustment that you boys would have to make. Well, God has been good, and faithful, and has put people in your lives that have made the transition smooth.

He is such a GOOD FATHER, who cares about every detail of or lives.
