Parker,
you were Student of the Month for April in your class. I think each child gets an opportunity to have that special title, and last month was your month. You received a medal, a certificate, and you were able to have a snack with the principal. You were so proud of your medal, that it's been several weeks, and I still see you wearing it during various times of the week.
You love success. You devour praise. You try so hard to be perfect, because you get pleasure when others are pleased with you. My only prayer is that you take that same desire, and it apply it to the one who's opinion counts the most. I pray that you live your life to please God, and that giving HIM praise would be your greatest pleasure.
