I'm so tired, but we had an awesome few days over here. Yesterday on Good Friday, we went to the park and played baseball on the field for a bit, and then on the jungle gym. Then we went to church for the Easter Egg Hunt...you both found a bunch of eggs, made a craft, and won a big lollipop in the raffle (Kent-I have a funny story about this and I plan to blog about it this week). We then joined the young families of the church for a dinner and game night, and we concluded our evening with our life group.
This morning we had cinnamon rolls, and then I was off to a woman's lunch with the ladies of the church. You and Daddy went to lunch with some friends and then went to the park to run off some energy. In the afternoon we dyed Easter Eggs, and the Easter Bunny magically knocked on the door while we were in the kitchen dyeing the eggs. You each received a basket with some toys and candy, a chocolate cross, Veggie Tale Gummies, and a baseball tee and bat.
We had pizza for dinner, took baths, and then settled in for a good night's sleep. We have Sunday School and service tomorrow, and then we are joining our friends the Wyatts for Easter lunch. We'll end tomorrow with a service at night, and then we'll come home to recoop. Parker, you are on Spring Break this week, so we are trying to think of ways to celebrate you being home.
Happy Easter Boys. Jesus is alive. And as we talked about at dinner, He is coming back to get all of his friends!!!!
