Now for some fun stuff. All of our posts have been kind of sappy lately, so I thought I'd lighten the mood.

Kent, you flushed a bunch of toilet paper down the toilet and it overflowed. There was an inch of water in our bathroom. You thought it was the greatest thing in the world. I did not.

Parker, you are so worried about all of your toys making the move. We've agreed that I would give you boxes and that you can pack your precious items on your own. I think we have a control freak on our hands. Wonder where you picked that up? is a picture of me and your crazy aunts on Black Friday.

hey,'s been a long time since we've talked, but i read your blog often...i love it. i love your stories, your humor, and the chance to remember what good, honest, and vigorous spirits you and p. erik have.

i just finished reading your last few blogs about your move (which i must say, is quite happy news in our household)...and i feel your children's pain. it's a hard road to travel. ministry is weird...and frustrating, and painful, and beautiful, and refreshing. you know that...but as the children of the ones that do it, we learn to hold on. we witness our parents faith and perseverance all of our lives...and, luckily, through their prayer and intercession on our behalf, it becomes our own. Jesus carries us through; He develops our character in a special way, i think.

something i've been thinking about a lot lately is what a privilege it is for matter where we go, every time we move & 're-root', we are constantly summoned and welcomed into the heart of God's church and people...every-stinkin'-where we go.

hope things go well for your family within the next few months.
yeesh, this is long :)
thanking of you guys...
talk soon!

Alli--you are so encouraging. I have been so concerned about my boys, especially Parker, during this time. It gives me great comfort to know that you've "made it through" and your views on ministry and God are healthy!! I am very excited to be near your mom once again. Her very nature is soothing and calming, and I always hung on every word she said because of the wisdom she carries. As soon as I'm settled, I need to schedule some Dana time. And your dad has been an incredible asset to my husband's life!

Where are you now a days? Do you get to visit "home" often? I saw your brother at youth convention, and honestly did not even recognize him. He is a man!

Thanks for "stopping" by! Your family has our utmost of respect and admiration!!
