Three Men and a Lady

In an effort to keep you connected to your Chicago roots, I try to amp up our sports teams. It's a rare occasion when channels here air the games (baseball, basketball, and football) of Chicago teams. We had been talking about the Bears game for a few days, and you boys were getting excited to watch it live. A few years back I bought a toy bin from a garage sale for $8 and it came with these Bears helmets inside. You think these helmets have special powers: It's the "If we wear them, they will win" mentality. You were dressed in your Bears gear for Sunday night church, and when we came home I let you watched the 2nd and 3rd quarters in our bed. You went to bed reluctantly when the Bears were down by 14 points, and the first thing you asked in the morning was if they had come back to beat the Giants. I broke the news gently to you about their defeat, but being Cubs fans, you accepted the loss with grace. Winning or losing, you two are the CUTEST fans on the planet. That has to count for something.
