Parker, you had to write and illustrate a story for school. I wrote down what you said, and then you drew pictures on each page. You wanted to write about Curious George and the Cubs, but you weren't allowed to use established names...so we went with this...

Once upon a time there was a baseball player for the Dynamo. His name was George. George had black hair. He hit a home run every game, and he never got out. He was the best player in Frankfort.

One day it was the championship game. It was the Dynamo playing against the Fire. The Fire was winning, and it was George’s turn to bat. For the first time, George got out. All of his team was very sad.

The next inning the Fire was still winning, but it was the Dynamo’s turn to bat again. The bases were loaded for the Dynamo. George came up to bat. Last time he got out, so he was nervous. He tried his best and he hit a home run! And it was the 9th inning and the Dynamo won. Everybody cheered for George. George was happy he tried again after he got out. The Dynamo team is the best team, and everyone shared the trophy.
