A little bit about your heritage...I'll start with my paternal side the ELTONS..

Arthur Richard Elton (who went by the nickname Dick) married Noreen Francis Krisky in 1950. They had three children: Pamela Patrice Elton who married Randy Sampson, Vern Fredrick Elton who married Rose Ann Mangialardi, and Cherie Mary Elton who married Mark Orcutt. Noreen, or Nana, as we called her, went to be with Jesus in 2002, and Papa still lives in Villa Park, IL.

Pam and Randy Sampson have three children, and currently reside in Carol Stream, IL. Staci Sampson married Dave Hoover (who works with computers) in 1997, and they have three children named Rose, Ricky, and Charlie. Kevin Scott Sampson (who is a pastor) married Aubrey (?) in 2001, and they have two children named Eli and Lincoln. Paige Patrice Sampson married Chris Rauh (who is a teacher), and they have two children named Jude and Salem, and another one on the way.

Vern and Rose Ann Elton (who you call Mimi and Pop Pop) have four children, Bethany, Sharon, Janna, and Richard, and they reside in West Chicago, IL. Bethany Patrice Elton (yours truly) married Erik Paul Scottberg in 2000, and they have two children named Parker and Kent. Sharon Noelle Elton married Jason Paul Sidell (works for Chase bank) in 2004, and they have one son named Blake. Janna Michelle Elton (teacher) married John Patrick (J.P.)Howard (teacher and personal trainer) in 2008, and they currently have no children. Richard Drew Elton is currently a Junior at Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL.

Cherie and Mark Orcutt have two children and reside in Alabama. Colin Richard Orcutt who has recently graduated college. Craig Allen Orcutt resides in Alabama.

You are blessed to have cousins, second cousins, aunts, great aunts, grandparents, and a great grandfather on this side of the family who love you and pray for you. Growing up I was very close to my cousin Paige. We went to high school together, and played softball together, and she was in my wedding. We went on vacations with the Sampsons, and looked forward to every time the Orcutts would visit from Alabama. It is such a blessing that this part of our family all love and serve the Lord. I attribute this to our Nana and Papa (Arthur and Noreen)who raised their children to attend church, and Awanas. We are all spread out now, and don't get to see one another all that often, but we share a close bond because we are all brothers and sisters in Christ first and foremost.
