We had such a fabulous day together. When we got there we decided to climb the big dune first. Parker made it up first, followed by me, then daddy with Kent on his shoulders, and finally Grandma Joan. Parker, you loved the feeling of being up so high, but Kenters you were scared to death. Kent, you kept crying for Daddy to come away from the edge because you thought he was going to fall off the dune. You didn't realize that it wasn't a cliff. Parker ran down the sand mountain, but Kent you sat and refused to move. You were paralyzed with fear, and Daddy had to coax you down.

We spent the rest of the day on the beach. Parker at first you were hesitant to go in to the water because of the big waves, but eventually you conquered your fear and splashed around quite a bit. Kent, you were petrified of the water and the closest you got to the actual lake, was the shore.

The two of you dug a hole in the sand so big, and were calling it your fort. You kept asking what you were going to find if you dug deep, and we answered with "China". Your eyes grew wide and you kept digging passionately.

P.S. Thanks to Dana for taking our picture on top of the Dune. It was good running in to you guys up there!
