On the morning of the 4th, after we sang Happy Birthday to Kent and gave him his presents, we set out to enjoy a nearby town's parade. We went with the Harris and Feith families, and despite the occasional drizzle, it was fun! You were hesitant to go the parade because somehow Parker was convinced that parades were for girls. He in turn convinced Kent to not want to go to either. But, once we got there and you saw fire trucks, drummers, and free candy, you guys changed your tune. It wasn't long before you were waving your flags and begging the marchers for candy. This was your first parade, and I see many in your future!
