It's Erik's 30th Birthday today..what an old man. He's 30, married, a dad to two boys, drives an accord and a minivan, mows his lawn on his day off, and wears black socks...he's officially a grown up.
I've planned just a few things, but mostly we are just going to relax. I have a feeling there will be a lot of guitar hero and web surfing today.
On another note, I have been practicing for a 5K that I am running the morning of the 4th. I've been very consistent in getting up every morning at 6:30 and running 3 miles. 3 miles kills me. I have no idea how people run marathons. It's not that I get too tired, I just get so bored, and then my mind starts telling my body that I'm done.

So, how does Erik feel being 30? I have two more days till I hit it!
So, where are you running? Sometimes if you're running in a boring area, then you'll more likely to become bored and ready to quit. Try picking a few different places to run if you can. I know to drive somewhere takes more time, but it helps only if you do it once or twice a week.
And I would love to have a get together in Indy! And if we needed a house to go to, we could use my parents house. My house is an hour from Indy, but they're right there. So, we'll have to think of what we want to do and pick out some dates to see what's good for everybody! It'd be a blast!
30?! That is soooo not old!
Happy Birthday to Erik! 30 seems wrong to me, he doesn't look or act his age which is a good thing. And for the 4th we are sticking closer to home. Thank you so much for the invite. I am sure you will have fun!!!
I hope Erik had a great birthday!
Good luck on your race on Friday. You can do it!
Bethany, I am so proud of you for running a 5K! Where are you running it at?
Tell Erik happy belated birthday! I am behind on my blogging since we just moved back to Illinois.
I hope I get to see you soon! :)
