Blessings

This past week I have been in awe of all of the blessings that God has given to me and my family. Besides giving me the richest gift of salvation, He gives me friendship, security, and guidance. God has blessed my family (both immediate and extended) with health, closeness, and financial provisions.

I have heard recently of individuals who have and who are currently enduring many physical, emotional, and financial troubles. My heart is humbled when I examine my life and see how God has protected and provided for me.

To list all of my blessings seems futile, but I want to testify to the faithfulness of God. He has given me a family that nurtured me and imparted His Word to me. He has given me a husband who is patient and faithful. He has given me healthy (and energetic) children. He has directed us to serve a church that is solidly based on the Biblical truths. He has given me friends who support me unconditionally. He has given us a home that is perfect for our family. He has taken care of our finances by meeting every one of our needs. He has even showed favor in allowing us to haves some of our "wants". He has given me His Holy Spirit that lovingly convicts me and gently guides me.

What can I do for you Lord? You've given me everything and then some. I give you my life, but that somehow doesn't seem enough. How can I express my gratitude to you for who you are, and for what you've done? I'll say it again and again, Thank You. I am undeserving, yet You are continually giving. I am unfaithful, yet You remain loyal. I am waivering, yet You remain constant. I am nothing, yet You chose me.

God is so good. God is so good. God is so good; He's so good to me.

it is so good to hear how god is blessing people because lately I feel there are so many people who need God to answer so many prayer requests. You deserve all the things the Lord has given you and then some!

We do serve a good God! I love that song, God is so good. It is a simple song with so much meaning! I even know it in sign language! :)

Speaking of sign language...do you remember our sophomore year of college when we sat in the sign language section for chapel?!! That was so fun! I'm laughing just thinking about it!! All I have to say is "Shout to the Lord!" Ha!
