Thursdays are the highlight of my week. It is Erik's day off and we get to spend the whole day together as a family. Usually the boys and I get up and make cinnamon rolls and let daddy sleep in a bit. It is a lazy day and we take our time getting dressed and starting the day's activities.
Today we went to McDonald's for lunch and let the boys run around in the indoor play land for an hour. Parker never used to be able to climb the to the different levels, but now he has mastered them. Kent spent his time hanging around the bottom of the slides greeting each child as their ride ended.
Then we took them to Alsip Home and Nursery. It is a huge store with products ranging from home decor, toys, and live household pets. They have a train table set up in the store with Thomas toys, and the boys loved spending time there. It is all decorated for Christmas, and Erik had to literally pull me out of there!
As soon as we got home, we washed off the McDonald's play ground germs with a bath, put them in their pj's and ow we are waiting for our Thursday ritual of lounging out and watching TV. We watch "The Office" and "Survivor" together, and then after I go to bed Erik watches "Smallville" and CSI".
Thursdays are by far my favorite day of the week!

I love TV Thursdays as well! I can't get enough of the Office and spending time with my hubby...well maybe I could stand a little less of the latter...JUST KIDDING...
