Miraculously Parker slept in until almost 9:30 this morning. That means that Kent and I just had each other for a few hours. I was laying on the couch reading, and Kent came over and said "Uh, Uh", which translates into "Up! Up!". I granted his wish, and pulled him up onto the couch with me. He was beyond excited to join me. He buried his head in my neck and began to kick his feet and squeal with delight. We ended up laying a game of "I'm going to eat you" on the couch, which resulted in Kent literally jumping up and down on the cushions and honestly screaming out in laughter. It was one of the first times that he and I actually interacted at his initiative. Most of the time, he just wants to be held, but this time he came to me because he wanted to play. It was a wonderful feeling...

We had some friends over last night for game night. The boys beat the girls at games on the Wii (except for bowling) and then they boys beat us again at Turbo Cranium. Ughh...like their heads need to get any bigger!

Tonight when Erik gets home we are going to transfer all of our winter clothes into the crawl space, and retrieve our summer clothes, wash them, and put them away in our closets. There is more excitement to follow though...we are then going to watch Survivor, which we recorded last night. I am actually looking forward to spending this time with my family.

This afternoon I am going to attempt to make stuffed peppers. I've made them before, and I am just in the mood to be in the kitchen today. That desire doesn't hit very often, so I need to take advantage of it!

I love stuffed peppers! My mom used to make those all the time when I was a kid and I would be upset b/c I thought peppers were gross as a child. Now I would love to come over and eat stuffed peppers for dinner with you! :)

those moments with Kent you were describing is exactly what I cannot wait for with my baby. I hope my baby is a happy baby like Kent is!
