Tonight we are going to Stone Academy's 8th Grade graduation. I hope the boys will sit through it all. Then, tomorrow we begin the parade of graduation parties, showers, and birthdays. Surprisingly we have no weddings this summer!
Work is going okay. I wish more than anything that I could just be with the boys outside all day everyday, but I understand that this job was handed to me, and I need to be a good steward in that regard.
I celebrated Ischee's big 30 with her last night. I love a good friend who I can completely be myself around.
I have a few projects going this summer with the ministry. I'm teaching Sunday School for the Jr. Highers, I'll be preaching a few times as well in our services, and then I am working on a Leadership class for our students. We have incredible potential here and we need to capitalize on the gifts that these students possess.
I'm also trying to plan Kent's party. His actual birthday is on the 4th, but I don't know if I want to have it on that day, or on the weekends before or after. I'm a planner. It makes me uneasy to not have these details figured out yet.
PS...Kent ate almost an entire Brat last nite for dinner.
