Three Men and a Lady

K and P,(thought I'd switch it up--I'm crazy like that)

I wish I could freeze you both at this age. Parker you are almost 5 1/5, and Kent you will turn three in three weeks. You are both potty trained. You both sleep through the night. You will play with each other for hours on end and you entertain yourselves. You even dress yourselves..now, your choice for outfits are a bit interesting, but for the most part your both very fashion conscious. You brush your own teeth (Kent you eat the toothpaste like it's candy), you put on your own cologne, and you are even starting to make your own beds.

You are gaining more and more independence each day.

But, you still want to be cuddled, and hugged, and kissed, and rocked, and tickled, and hugged...all the good stuff a mom loves.

I have the best of both worlds right now. Soon you'll be so independent that you won't need me to comfort you. I am cherishing these moments.

P.S. Kent, it seems that since we had you relieve yourself in the forest while we were in TN on vacation, you feel very comfortable peeing outside. Yesterday while the neighbors were here, I looked over and there is your little white hiney. You were just doing your business by the tree like it was a normal everyday routine. You make me laugh til my side hurts.
