Good Friday. Good for those who are broken. Good for those who are hopeless. Good for those that are lost. Good for me.
"But now through Christ Jesus you, who were once far away, have been brought near by the blood of Christ." Ephesians 2:13
While I was at my lowest and ugliest point, Jesus thought that I was valuable enough to die for so that I didn't have to spend an eternity away from God. Through Jesus, I have been brought near to the all powerful, all knowing, all present, and all loving creator of the universe. Through Jesus I have been reconciled to God. I have received a righteousness that is not my own, and an inheritance that I do not deserve. I have been shown mercy, and punishments that I have accumulated have been withheld. I have been given grace, and have enjoyed fullness and blessings that I have not earned.
Thank You Jesus.
