Parker turned 5 yesterday. He woke us up declaring it his Birthday, and devoured his celebratory donut breakfast. He then went to school and Erik got to be the parent helper in his class for the entire 2 1/2 hours. The most exciting event of the school day was not his classmates singing him "Happy Birthday", it was not that he got to wear a crown, or have his dad as the helper, it was the fact that he got to erase the board two times!
Parker chose Choo Choo Johnnies for his special dinner, and he got to stay up until 9:00 and watch the entire American Idol.
We bought him 5 presents, and right before bed he said, "Mom, 5 presents isn't really a lot. When I'm 10, I get 10 presents and that's a lot!" Too bad that's not how it works. I'll wait to then to break the news.

haha i remember when everyone lovedddd erasing the board, i can honestly say it was one of the funnest parts of class. Everyone wanted to do it
