Parker gave Kent a black eye. Apparently they were arguing over space on the carpet, and in his anger, Parker threw a toy bin and it hit Kent.
I scolded Parker, and held Kent while I iced his eye and cheek. I was cuddling Kent and playing with his cornsilk blonde hair, and telling him how much I loved him and how sorry I was that he was hurt.
He said, "Mommy. I hab to tell you someping."
"What baby boy?"
"I hit Pawka furst."
Well...Kent couldn't take the extra attention, and his littel 2 1/2 year old conscience kicked in. He tattled on himself and he and Parker apologized to each other.
All is well.

awe. I about cried. :'{ How cute. Your boys really do love each other! How sweet.
That is so sweet! The closest Brayden has ever come to telling on himself is by saying "Mommy, I didn't have to sit in time out today because I didn't throw a toy" when being picked up from daycare, meaning that he threw a toy and had to sit in time out.
hi Bethany....good guilt is always good. Brennan was that way, He would say "my heart feels bad".
