This has been an icky week. The boys have not left the house since Thursdaay (with the exception of the dr.), and they are going stir crazy. Kent, who was declared potty trained, has now reverted back to his pre-underwear days, and had six accidents yesterday. Two poops and one pee came in a hour time frame. What hour was it? I'll gladly tel you. It was the hour that I was trying to cook dinner. Our ham ended up being well well well done, because I kept having to tend to Kenters. Because I absolutely refuse to waste food, poor Erik had to take the leftovers for lunch today.

On a bright note, I had a conference with Parker's teacher, and she had all glowing comments. She said that he know his letters better than anyone in the class and that he is her helper. Parker apparently will go around and look at toys, and if they are not put away properly, he takes them out of the bins and corrects the problem. Wonder where he gets that from?

Anyways, these last few days have brought out the worst in me. I am feeling constricted and suffocated, and I've lost my temper more than once. I know compassion for sick children should be ruling my actions, but sadly I've let impatience get the best of me.

See Erik's blog for our dinner drama last night...

Poor Kent. I don't like when my sister drinks all my Sprite either! HEHE

Praying that your week gets better.

Hi Bethany,
I've been reading your blog for awhile and really enjoy it. The stories about your boys are too cute and I love your honesty about life. Maybe we could get together sometime when I'm in Chicago to visit my parents.

OH my word! I cannot believe how much our two boys are alike! Kent sounds just like Josh and Parker makes the same faces that Josiah does! We defintely need to get them together sometime....I think it'd be hilarious!

I'm so sorry you're stuck at home. I've been stuck too and haven't got many places with Josh being sick - he's now over his fever so we can go to church tonight - I haven't been in a week. I know it gets really frustrating! Hang in there! At least it's not warm outside where you really want to be out! I'll pray for Kent's ear infections!!! You're a great mommy!!! Love you!
