BFF

Parker and Kent are exhibiting sibling rivalry already.

Parker will say, "I'm bigger of you."

Kent will reply, "No. I'm bigger dan you."

This banter continues until one gets distracted by a toy or TV show.
--------------------
They play Power Rangers every day. They have even assigned colors of the heroes to everyone in our family.

Parker is Blue. Kent is Red. Daddy is Black. Mommy is the pink one.

They roam around the house fighting imaginary bad guys for HOURS!
-------------------------

When I was at my ultrasound for Kent and found out he was a boy, I cried and cried. I only wanted two children and my heart was set on getting that little girl. I cannot fathom what life would be like for us without Kent. Parker and Kent are the absolute best of friends. They greet each other with hugs and kisses after being separated from one another at school or church. They are partners in crime, and closest of play buddies. I love spying on them while they are in their imaginary world of Power Rangers and Super Heroes. I love that they are the same gender and that they have each other as constant companions.

Now, if only I can get this relationship to last in to their teenage years...

deep down i felt the same way when we found out about another girl, but this encourages me that they can be good friends and playmates!

I feel the same way about having two boys close together...they also love to be superheros and power rangers together!! Josiah says, "Josh is my best bud!" And I love to see them hug and miss each other!! They DO love each other!

I don't have children of my own, but I am able to watch my nephews play with each other. Like Angel said, they do love each other. I love watching them hug and kiss each other. I love hearing their conversations and seeing their reactions.

Even though as a child I missed out on having a sibling that was close in age with me...I have now made up for it and am very close with my sister.

THANK GOD FOR FAMILY!
