What I ate yesterday...don't tell my mom.

Breakfast: 1 cup of coffee and two Oreos.

Snack: Dry cheerios (straight from the box) and Doritos.

Snack: BBQ Pringles

Lunch: Fontina Cheese, tomatoes, Italian Bread

Snack: Cheese Pringles

Snack: 1 piece of pumpkin pie

Dinner: Pasta, Fontina Cheese, tomatoes, and Italian Bread

Snack: 1/2 bag of popcorn, fresh pineapple and mango

Snack: Edy's peppermint ice cream.

Problem #1: I eat junk. I don't mind carrots and celery, it's just that I wished they were more sugary and tasted like chocolate. In this day and age where we can create almost anything, how come we have not invented chocolate flavored veggies? Come on Willy Wonka!

Problem #2: I don't eat a lot of meat at home. The preparation of the meat grosses me out, and it makes it unappetizing to me. I don't have any qualms about eating meat at a restaurant or at someone's home because I don't see it raw first. In my twisted mind a McDonald's cheeseburger is more appetizing than a meat loaf I made at home. I know. I'm weird.

One of my goals for 2009 was to eat healthier. I need to eat more grains, veggies, and meat, and less sugar. At this rate, I am going to have a heart attack at 32 years old.

Hey! Don't be so hard on yourself! You got all the major food groups in! Maybe for the meat thing you could try already prepped meat?

My question is where do you put all that food? If I were to eat like that I would wake up 5 pounds heavier...seriously. I'm jealous!

Why don't you try dipping your veggies into melted chocolate. Just eat more of the veggie than the chocolate. hehe

I hate prepping the meat too. I think chicken is the worst one for me. And my question is how can you eat all that stuff and not gain weight? I hate people like you.

Melissa..you are pregnant. You are supposed to eat like that! I have no excuse except for the fact that I have no self discipline.

That butcher shop across the street from church is AMAZING! Not exactly cheap... but every thing is 100% fresh and prepared restaurant style... Treat yourself to it once a week. You'll probably have leftovers.
