These blonde hair, blue eye, fair skin boys are mine, even if they look nothing like me. Kent and I spent over 4 1/2 hours yesterday at Hope Children's Hospital in Oak Lawn in order to figure out what is going on with his digestive and intestinal issues. We saw the doctor for a total of 4 minutes, Kent had blood drawn, and then I had to wait there for two hours for Kent to poop so I could scoop it into two separate containers and take it to the pediatric lab. Try keeping an overactive two year old busy for two plus hours in a hospital waiting room. By the time we left there, I was exhausted. And the worst part is, his poop wasn't "good enough" so I have to go back with a dirty diaper next week. Being a mom can be just a tad disgusting.
When we got home we saw that daddy had "raked" the leaves with the leaf blower, and we jumped in them. We needed to get out Kent's bottled up energy.

Love the picture... looks like you guys should be on the cover of better homes and gardens or Parenthood :)
the only true way to "rake" leaves is with a leaf blower. Preferably one hooked up to a V-8 engine from an old 'vette. But lacking that any old one from Home Depot should do. you all look great and I hope Kent is ok.
I hope Kent is doing ok. Next time you go, bring Grandma Bea with you. She helps with the kids. These doctors just don't get the attention span of children.
Ps Adorable pic of you and the boys
I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture!
How come you didn't blog about how brave Kent was in getting his blood drawn and how he takes after Autnie J in that!!!
Beautiful Picture.
I hope Kent gets feeling better.
