I love the 80's!!!!!

My wonderful sisters threw me a surprise 30th birthday party. It was an 80's murder mystery with characters such as Debbie Gibson, Madonna, Ozzy Osbourne, Teen Wolf, Elvira, Crocodile Dundee, Mork, Paula Abdul, Jessica Rabbit, Pee Wee Herman, Daniel Son,Revenge of Nerd Alumni, and Cyndi Lauper. The stage was set when I arrived to my parents house under the assumption that were taking a family picture and carving pumpkins. When we pulled up to the house all of the guest swarmed the car like paparrazzi and began asking me how I felt about the debut of my new perfume "Electric Youth" and my new album by the same name (I was Debbie Gibson). They had a red carpet pulled out and a strobe light going, and all of the guest entered the "premier party" to begin the game. In the end, poor Crocodile Dundee was killed by Cyndi Lauper.

Anyways, my sisters were dressed as 80's career women (think Angela Bauer from "Who's the Boss"), and they dressed me like an 80's homeless club hopping streetwalker. The blue eyeshadow was half way down my face, my hair was sprayed wit Aqua Net, and the gold on my sleeves was blinding.

I had a Strawberry Shortcake cake (my favorite childhood toy) and then I got to dance to 80's music to my heart's content. My sisters know me so well. They know I adore that decade, and it was perfect! Here are some pictures of the evening. Erik and I tried to do a tandem dance to "Beat it" by Michael Jackson, and we attempted the running man.
