The Cubs: I don't want to talk about it.
The Sox: If they win, it will be the final nail in the coffin.
The Bears: I'm not investing in another Chicago team. I'll watch them and if they win, great. If they lose, I don't really care.
This past weekend I had Erik go in our crawl space and get out my two memory bins. My exiting of this decade is coming in 15 days, and I am feeling quite nostalgic. These bins were filled with my memories from the first 30 years of my life. I have trophies for softball and track, letters from middle school and high school friends, yearbooks, missions trips collectables, old devotional journals, letters from my family while I was away at college, college papers I wrote, and some Cubs decorations that used to fill my room as a teenager.
Kent was asleep but Parker had so much fun going through my memories. He was in awe as he looked at my track and softball trophies. He asked if I won the gold medal (he still is in the Olympic mindset), and I answered, "Yes! Isn't mommy awesome?" I crack myself up.

I agree with you 100% on all the Chicago teams!! I was actually thankful that the Bears won yesterday b/c I really needed that win!!
I'm sure it was fun going through your old bin of memories! I have done that a few times over the years and it makes for a really good laugh!!
Kelly...I found our scrapbook from Cubs Convention 1996..How embarrassing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You would die looking at some of those pictures. Why did you guys let me out of the hotel wearing an Atlanta Braves T-shirt to Cub's convention?
I agree to the Chicago teams - go Bears but after watching them get destroyed in the SuperBowl a couple of years ago I have no faith in them either - especially without a quarterback.
Answer to your question: Brayden talks to his cars/trucks/trains. He thinks they cry and kisses them to make them feel better and tells them all kinds of hilarious things. I love to listen from another room but if he knows I'm listening he doesn't really do it.
