I just got our adjusted mortgage bill. According to our escrow account, our monthly payment just increased by $100 due to the increase of our taxes. I am asking a very sincere question here..what do our taxes go to? Is it normal that they have increased by $2000 in three years?
I took the boys to the store on Saturday, and for the first time I did not put Kent in a cart or stroller. He has been resisting for some time now, but I have not given in. Finally, I decided to give it a try. Never again. They boys were running everywhere, "shooting" bad guys, and hiding in isles and racks. Kent had the time of his life, because it was a whole new playground for him. On more than one occasion I heard myself say, "Don't shoot that nice man", or "That lady is not a bad guy!". Their favorite thing was the dressing room. They would announce to anyone within a five mile radius what I was wearing, and what color my unmentionables were. Then they were crawling under the door to try and get away from the "bad guys" that always seem to be chasing them. Keeping control of one child out of a stroller was easy. But, there was something so tempting and exciting for Parker to now have a partner to play with while Mom shops.
I don't think we are welcomed back to Old Navy any time soon.

ahh...the good ole days. my personal favorite was hiding in the jam packed clearance racks..the circular ones. Then wait for someone to start rummaging through it. The trick was to pop out just at the right moment...ahhh the joys of being a young male...Now don't think I got away unscathed. There were plenty of tidy es I got my bell rung for it, but in my mind it was well worth it!
How cute.
Don't even get me started about taxes!!!! It drives me insane. Think about how many times we get taxed.... house, clothing, gas, county, city??? it never ends! anyways, joel and i took the girls to the mall the other day and the girls were running all over, lauging, singing, dancing, and completely oblivious to the world around them. I was glad they weren't fighting but was afraid we were about to get kicked out!
I struggle with this same issue with Josh at times when we're at Walmart getting groceries. The only way he'll sit in the cart is if I have some snacks for him to eat while we're shopping. Sometimes he'll still want to sit in the big part until he starts getting too squished, then he'll move up to the seat. And I don't even try taking them with me to get clothes anymore...it's not worth it! It's easier just to wait for a time when Ronnie can be with me or better yet, when I can be by myself!
