Here a two pictures from our Amish Day Out in Shipshewana, IN. Five CREW girls who were involved in the summer book club went to see some of the Amish and Mennonite culture. We ate a traditional Amish meal at an Inn, and we all felt too full to even finish off the pie we were served for dessert. Then the girls took a carriage ride with an Amish man named Amos. We finished our day by shopping at several local stores, and we concluded that we'd like to return for more than just a day visit.

I have always wanted to visit an Amish town. It seems like you are in a different world because of the simplicity in things.
Sounds like fun! But, I know I could never be Amish! I have too many needs! haha
