I feel like I have so much to do for the upcoming season. I have to do the obligatory closet clean out in which I go through all of our clothes. I give Kent's old clothes to the Goodwill (notice I am not keeping them for a potential 3rd child), I transfer all of Parker's old clothes to Kent's storage bins, I wash all clothes that have been in bins for months, and then I make a list of what item each child needs for the new season. Then I tackle my closet and do the same...Goodwill, garbage, or back in the "summer bin" until next year. I follow that by making a list for myself as well. Do these details keep anyone else up at night? I'm serious. I dream about closet clean out for days, and the overwhelming task haunts me.

All of this hinges upon a trip to the crawl space in order to get out the bins. I refuse to go in there because I am convinced there are monsters, or worse yet-mice. That means I have to wait for my hubby to make the trek down to no man's land.

Good thing Chicago only has two seasons: hot and cold. That means we only have to do this clothes rearranging twice a year.

Worse yet mice...lol. reminds me of a cartoon. Usually I don't stress about overfloeing closets, but latley I have been itching to get rid of things that I haven't worn in a while...like that HUGE ambercrombie&fitch sweater from the 90s...yah...it' so going bye bye

I honestly laughed out loud when I read your blog today!! You are the most organized person I know!

I need you to come over to my house and help me get organized before I have Addison in October. Let's schedule something! I'll buy you all of the twizzlers you want in return! :)

I wish I was just a little close to how organized you are!
I think it is great that you do those things. I seem to clean out my closet once a year. Right before winter or summer comes.

I thought your family calls you Monica... doesn't that mean that your closets should be so jam packed that when it is opened it tumbles down on whoever opened it? :) Seriously, clothes are the only thing I do not organize like I should. The thought makes me want to cry!

I hate clutter too and since just recently getting rid of all the bayb clothes and clothes they've grown out of, I feel great! I don't obsess about it at night though...calm down girl!!! You're much more organized than the rest of the world! You're a good mommy though, and it's good to stay on top of things so you know exactly what they're in need of when you see those great sales!
