I have been a bridesmaid six times, and next week will mark 7. I've been the maid/matron of honor in 4 of them. Each one has made me cry, although my experience has taught me the value of water-proof mascara.
My sister's wedding is a week and half away and I feel as overwhelmed as the bride. Parker and I still have to get hair cuts, I am getting together the final details for her bachelorette party, I have to go for my final fitting for my dress, I'm still looking for an outfit for Kent to wear, I have to continue to tan in order to get rid of my tank top lines, I've got to drop off and pick up Erik's suit from the dry cleaners, we need to finish up some details of the wedding video, Sharon and I haven't written our speeches for the rehearsal dinner or the reception yet, and Erik and I still need to sit down and prepare the actual message for the ceremony.
Aye Aye Aye. Janna and JP get to go to Mexico for a vacation after their wedding. Maybe I'll join them. I'm in desperate need of a relaxing getaway, and I'm sure they won't mind me tagging along on their honeymoon.

How exciting... what do the brides maids dresses look like? Is there a theme to the wedding? Ours was "Fairy Tale" and our cake was shaped like a book that said "Once upon a time..."
Weddings are fun...
It may seem stressful now, but once that day comes it will be beautiful.
What a great sister you are!
Congrats on #7
You could always truck down to Tulsa for a few days with the boys...
