I have a new invention.....Drive-thru White Hens or Seven Elevens. There are so many times where I just want a bag of pretzels and a coke, but don't want to take the boys in and out of their car seats (a ten minute process) for a two minute trip inside for a snack. Or, at Target, I may just need detergent and napkins, but taking the boys in is such a chore for only a few items. How convenient would it be if I could pull up to Target, give an associate my order of two things, pull around to a designated parking area, and have my items delivered to my car.
Maybe I'm lazy, but I love this idea!

no no no. Bethany, it is not being lazy. It is called being efficient. grin
I think that is a fabulous idea! They actually have drive through liquor stores in downtown cincinnati....... which seems like it should almost be illegal! :)
Not lazy, practical! My bank here in the sticks aka Marengo, doesn't even have a drive up window! I get so aggrevated because I hate getting Wyatt out just to put him back in two minutes later! I really want to hold a town hall meeting about that one!
The drive through at target would save money too... because you wouldn't be as likely to stop by the dollar isle... or throw that $4 clearance top in your cart... :)
That's actually a fabulous idea. I know my mom would have loved to have that back when Yolanda, Lisa, and I were your sons' ages. It's not being lazy, it's just saving time. I am not a mother yet, thank God, but I can see how certain things could create a big inconvenience for moms with young children.
I am the definition of 'lazy' when it comes to going to the store. We have a Dominick's a mile away, and I hate walking there. It's always worth it in the end, because I love Lincoln Park, and it's always good to get some form of 'exercise' in.
