Yesterday I put Parker in a time-out in his room. I honestly don't even remember what the offense was, or else I'd say. Anyways, around an hour and half later, I heard Parker in his room. I opened the door and found him playing with army guys and stuffed animals (weird combo). I looked at him absentmindedly, and immediately he looked towards the ground.
"Mommy, you said no toys but my time out was taking forever."
Poor boy. I had totally forgotten about him. I got busy washing the kitchen floor, banging rugs outside, and dusting my baseboards. I did not remember that I punished him, so therefore, I never went to "release" him from his discipline. Oops.

awe poor boy. :}
Over an hour is a very long time for a time out.
Well, the point is he probably did sit there for a few minute with out playing with toys. ;}
Your kids responces are so funny.
Poor Parker! I could see how easy it would to be forget since you were busy cleaning.
I love your mommy stories. You need to write a book someday! :)
HAHA!! That is too funny. I often dial someone's number on my cell, lay it down to do something quick and then forget about it and they wind up getting some funky message.
I would do that!!! Except that Josiah would probably come and get me and ask if he could get up!
what an obedient boy... that must mean you are a great mom!
