I have hesitated to post anything positive about the Cubbies thus far, due to the fear of jinxing their recent winning streak. I am not one to be superstitious, but you can't argue with the curse of the goat.I know it is early, and we haven't even made it to the All Star break, but I am excited and confident in the Cubs this season. They have depth, they are showing consistency, and their resolve is unmatched.
Ronnie would be absolutely uncontrollable if the Cubs went all the way..and I would join him in that celebration.
Last night as we were driving home from church, Dempster completed the game with a strike out, and immediately following, the "Go Cubs Go" anthem began to play. I rolled down the windows, beeped my horn, and the boys and I sang along at the top of our lungs.
Parkers sings,"Go Cubs Go, Go Cubs Go, Hey Disago whatchu say? The Cubs are winning today. They got the power, they got the speed. They beat the bad guys all the time...."
Kent just sings, "Go Cubs Go" over and over and pumps his chubby hands.
I love it. I love every minute of it.

YEAH for the Cubs!! I definitely want to go to a game when Rick and I move back! Maybe all of us could go this summer sometime. That would be so much fun!

We're going to a Rays/Cubs game on Tues. night here in Tampa. My parents and Megan and her husband will be here too! Of course we're rooting for the Cubbies!

I am very excited. I have never been to a cubs game, but have always been on their side.
Chris bought me a t-shirt off of ebay that says, "THIS GIRL LOVES THE CUBBIES!"

Go Cubbies. We were in Wrigleyville today trying to find parking and tickets but were unsucessful with both. So disappointing. I love how much you love the Cubs, I love them and have only been here 4 years so I can't even imagine how you must fee.
Go Cubbies!! I am also hesitant to say anything or get my hopes up. I love them and root for them, but I don't like to make predictions. Your boys are so cute - we have to get together sometime soon!
