No matter what time Kent goes to bed, he gets up with the sun. This can sometimes make Thursday mornings miserable. At 6:00 this morning Kent was in his crib calling my name. I had high hopes that he would fall back asleep, so I politely ignored him. Then he moved on to calling Daddy. When he got no response there, he finally started calling for "Co Co" which is Parker. Finally at 7:11 I got out of bed and rescued Kent from his crib. Why doesn't his body work like mine? If you go to bed late, you get up late. That should be how it works.
I'm reading in Judges, and these last three chapters have reminded me that when I don't actively drive out evil from my life, I become comfortable with it, and eventually conform to that lifestyle. It happened with the Israelites, and I am no different.
Sharon, my lovely sister commented about yesterday's post and the fact that I write about laundry all the time. I can't help it. I feel like laundry stalks me. I support the detergent industry on my own.

I'm totally in the same boat with my boys. They never sleep in when they go to bed late. It's awful I know! But, one day they will sleep in and I can't wait!!!
have you tried room darkening? my friend told me to do this for Kayla because she gets up at 6:00am. i got this huge black velux blanket that i am going to try:-) i will let you know how it goes!
blake slept 18 min. longer than Kent. When the boys are older and having sleep overs at your house, they will be awake at 6:00 wanting breakfast and to go play outside...
I'm getting all of the sleep I can now b/c I know in 4 months I am not going to have that luxury anymore!
*On a side note...did you watch the Cubs game last night? I listened to it on live stream over the internet, but I was so nervous we were going to lose! I'm so glad Soriano pulled us through in the
10th! :)
