Should I be worried...

that Parker wants to play the bad guy in Bible stories? I came downstairs to find Parker standing on top of the coffee table saying, "Everybody worship me, or I will put you in the fire service (fiery furnace)!"

Kent was apparently playing the role of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and Parker took it upon himself to be Nebuchadnezzar.

I'm not sure if I should be happy that he is remembering and acting out Bible stories, or if I should be worried that he wants to play the villain. Who's next..Cain, Saul, Goliath?

I don't think you should be worried at all. I think it's great that he's acting out Bible stories instead of things he's seen on cartoons or something like that. Josiah is always wanting to be scary and making roar sounds to be the scary guy!

Nah...no worries. As long as he doesn't take to wearing horns, I think he is OK. :-D
Maybe the villians are just more memorable?
When I was little, for whatever reason I remembered Delilah cutting Samson's hair and taking away his strength more than Samson bringing the temple down. (Not...that...I ever played Delilah mind you. I DIDN'T.)

I don't know. I'm not a mom, but I think it is very cute. I think it is great that he is acting out Bible Stories. What did Kent do? Just stand there?! LOL

I would have loved to see that!

Picturing that makes me giggle a bit... I don't think you have anything to worry about!

Kids naturally appeal to my "bad guys" in stories because they seem more fun. No worries, Kent is just acting out what he heard and what stuck with him the most was that one particular thing.
