The Easter Bunny came a day early at the Scottberg household. Tomorrow Erik has to be at church before the boys will even wake up, so I wanted him to be able to see them find their baskets.
Parker and Kent were downstairs, and I knocked on the front door. The boys ran upstairs, and Parker opened the door to find two baskets on the front porch. To say they were excited would be an understatement.
I explained how I saw the Easter Bunny at Wal-mart and asked him if he could come to our house a day early because we were going to be at church tomorrow. He then asked if Santa and the Easter Bunny knew each other. I told him yes, and that they were best friend with the Tooth Fairy too.
Currently, Parker and I are sitting on my bed watching Charleton Heston's Ten Commandments. He is very engrossed, and keeps cheering for Jesus. So, he's a little confused.
Here is an exert from a conversation with Parker about Easter.
Do you know what EAster is? Easter Bunny gives you presents, and eggs come around the house.
What about Jesus? Yes, he's in our heart.
But, what do we celebrate on Easter? Decorating?
No..Jesus was dead on the cross, and then what happened? He camed Alive!!! Can I play Webkinz?

"I didn't see him cause he's short!"
That made my day!

Your boys are so cute. Glad you had a good time with your family even if it was a day early.
Congrats on being an aunt again!
What a cute idea to put the boys Easter baskets on the porch and then knock on the door! You are so creative!!
I watched some of the Ten Commandments movie too! Wow, that is one long movie! It sounds like Parker like it!
