Obviously, I have a new background here on my blog. I've been searching for a few days. I loved my other page, but I wanted something that was a bit more personal. After searching through dozens of floral prints, stripes, and solid color options, I settled on this one. As long as I can remember brown has been one of my two favorite colors (the other is green). I can even remember being embarrassed in grade school when all of my other friends would list purple, pink, and red as their colors of choice. Who likes brown? It's always accused of being drab, dull, and boring.
Well, not for me! As I have matured, I've gained confidence which enables me to be proud of my opinions, and I now am free to state how I feel. For me, brown symbolizes calmness and warmth. Brown is a flexible and reliable color. It's versatile, and it blends with every palate. My living room is painted in two shades of brown, and if it were up to me, all of my walls would be brown. I have a friend who is a gifted decorated, and she persuaded me to think outside the box, so my other walls..you guessed it...are green. Brown is not a risk taker, and neither am I. Brown is simple, yet bold. Brown characterizers me to a tee. It's structured, clean, and traditional. That is why I chose Brown to represent me.
Brown is also the color of Chocolate. That alone makes it my favorite!

Glad you figured out your backround!!! Go brown!!! My living room is also brown - walls are brown tepee - my couch is three neutral colors of brown. I have some blue accents, but my bedroom and bath is also blue and brown - am I in a rut? Who cares? Do what you like....although I do have some new ideas of what I'd like to do next...I'm so bad!
Personally, I never saw anything wrong with the color brown. I never really cared for it either, but now that I'm older, I LOVE IT!

ummmm it's not only brown but it looks like a little girly to me! What is going on here....get more girly too.....hmmmm do you want another baby and a girl!
I LOVE BROWN!!! But, my other favorite colors are dark purple and green and I seem to have both of those colors some how in almost every room of my house! I think I am stuck in a rut too.
