That's Weird

Parker's new phrase is "that's weird." If he doesn't like what I've serve him for a meal, he'll respond "I don't like that mommy. Those carrots are weird." Or, today when Kent knocked over his lego tower, Parker yelled, "Ughh..I am angry! You are so weird Kent!"

When I asked Parker if Miriam was his best friend he said, "No, she's my honey." Where did he hear that? One of the students I'm sure.

Kent can say book, shoe, dog, roof roof, bye-bye, and 'dar dar' for Parker, and he shakes his head no and nods for yes. He is getting to the stage where he can finally communicate what he wants without having to cry. He points, or he brings the object to you. He is growing up so fast. I still haven't had his one year pictures taken...he's fourteen months old now. I should probably get started on that.

Parker starts Rainbows and Pre-school today!

I don't like how as a parent you have to raise your kids to leave you and function on their own. I know I sound like Marie Baron, but I never want my boys to leave me!

ummm I am reading this blog as I am stuffing my face with a foot long subway veggie sandwhich...and when I read that Kent is saying and doing all this stuff, I feel like I am missing out on his life. I was around Parker much more than I am around Kent. I hope Kent knows me!
