Grandma Bea

We are celebrating Grandma Bea's 70th Birthday today. I am blessed to have a grandmother who has invested in my life and has made herself available to me time and time again. There is one word that describes Grandma Bea...giver.... She gives freely of her time to her husband (always making him a sandwhich); she gives freely to her four children, 11 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She gives her time, she gives her love, she gives her resources, she gives good arm tickelings, she gives her gift of cooking and hospitality to everyone who walks into her home. In college when my boyfriend (yes, erik that is you) broke up with me, she was one of the first people I called. I went to stay at her house for a few days just so I could have time to think. Her presence is a comfort to everyone who knows her, and she takes care of everyone else's needs before her own. She is the dancing queen of the clan and our source of strength, joy, and stability in this crazy world. I love you Grandma Bea and tonite we're going to party (just try to stay off the table tops!)
